Well, we are still waiting for transfer paperwork, but today I called Brigade and talked to someone that Joe knows from his Iraq deployment. He tracked down the paperwork and is personally going to take it to Major Weaver tomorrow to sign as it was still sitting with the Brigade Career Counselor as of this AM. From Major Weaver's desk it has to go to State to be signed by the state adjutant general, Gen. Umbarger. Cpt. Dalripple said that it should not take long to be signed at state because often times they look at the paperwork, see that Brigade has cleared him and then just sign the papers. We are hoping to be packing up and heading out by the first of March.
I will keep you posted as things progress and we have more definitive news.
